How this salary & paycheck calculator works
This is intentionally a simple estimate. Real payroll calculations can include progressive taxes, benefits, retirement contributions, and local rules.
Important: Review the assumptions shown under each input. Changing one assumption can materially change the result.
When to use this calculator
- Turn an annual salary into a rough paycheck using a flat deduction rate.
- Compare weekly, biweekly or monthly pay periods on the same salary.
- Remember this is not a tax return and does not use brackets or credits.

Frequently asked questions
Is the tax field a real tax calculation?
No. It is a single percentage applied to gross pay. Brackets, allowances and credits are not modeled.
Are retirement or health deductions included?
Only if you fold them into the percentage. There is no separate field for 401(k), EPF or premiums.
Why might my payslip differ?
Payslips apply jurisdiction-specific withholding, benefits and pre-tax items this estimate ignores.
