How this commission calculator works
Commission is eligible sales times the flat rate you enter. The remainder row is sales minus that commission. Tiered rates, draws, splits, returns and payroll tax are not applied.
Important: Review the assumptions shown under each input. Changing one assumption can materially change the result.
When to use this calculator
- Turn a sales total and a single commission percentage into a payout.
- See how much of the sales figure is left after that commission.
- Skip this page if the plan uses tiers, accelerators or a recoverable draw. Those are not modeled.

Frequently asked questions
Does this support a tiered commission plan?
No. One rate is applied to the whole sales amount.
Is income tax withheld?
No. The figure is pre-tax unless you reduce the rate or sales yourself.
What about returns or chargebacks?
They are not subtracted. Lower the sales input if you want them in the estimate.
