Who can use EzBiz
- Malaysian citizens or permanent residents aged 18 and above [SSM EzBiz].
- Every owner or partner must register and be verified as an EzBiz user on the SSM4U portal first [SSM EzBiz].
Step by step
- Create and verify your SSM4U / EzBiz user account [SSM EzBiz].
- Choose personal name or trade name; check SSM's guideline on acceptable business names.
- Fill in the business type, address and owner or partner details, and pay online.
- SSM's charter is within 1 working day after the application is received [SSM EzBiz].
- Download your certificate (and business information, if bought) within 90 days of approval; after that you buy copies from SSM's information service providers [SSM EzBiz].
Renewal
Renewal can be done before expiry or within 12 months after the expiry date on EzBiz, for the same yearly fees [SSM EzBiz] [SSM business renewal]. SSM's own guideline lists the renewal period options.
